Estates in Cyprus was founded in January 2001 by Mr. Nicos Nicolaou. Mr Nicolaou studied in a number of colleges and universities both in Cyprus and in the UK. He undertook an Associate Diploma at the College of Tourism and Hotel Management where he earned the American National Diploma in Hotel Management with CUM LAUDE honors. He then continued his studies in the UK by following a Bachelors Degree in Hospitality Management. Afterwards, he successfully undertook his first Masters Degree in Human Resource Management at Warwick University and continued to do a second Masters in Business Administration at Cardiff University, Wales. 

Mr. Nicolaou has worked in a number of establishments in the Cypriot hotel industry as well as other businesses in the private sector. In the year 2000, he started  his own internet business called nsnintelligence, specialising in the provision of internet solutions such as web page and e-commerce designing as well as marketing and selling on-line. It is important to note that Mr. Nicolaou has worked closely with real estate agents, developers, architects, constructors and builders as well as civil engineers. In this respect, in 2001 he started operating the first professional on-line real estate search engine under the name EstatesinCyprus.com.cy, giving the opportunity to internet users to select a variety of property in Cyprus.
